WHY VINYL CUT PRINTING?
Vinyl transfer is perfect for printing onto light or dark color garments including t-shirts, waterproof jackets, caps, bags and safety wear. If you require individual names, initials or numbers printed onto your clothing i.e. a football kit, vinyl heat transfer is the ideal choice for printing single color or simple two-color designs. Vinyl film is incredibly versatile, easy to apply and is available in a wide range of colors and a number of finishes including flock, fluorescent, metallic and glitter effects which are also suited for other applications.

HOW IT WORKS
The process starts with a vector file that is cut into poly vinyl’s and then stripped away (we call it weeding) by hand to leave only the desired image. This is a timely process and if the image is to small it cannot be done in this way.Solid vinyl’s are cheaper than embroidery and also faster to do. This is a popular choice for customized t-shirts, printing by football teams and other sports teams, as it is ideal for printing numbers and names onto a single-color design. This type of printing is the most popular for simple orders with high-impact designs.
ARTWORK | DESIGNING
If it's just text you require and you aren't too bothered what font is used we don't really need artwork. However, if your design is of a more complex nature we require your artwork to be supplied as a Vector-line graphic either as an Adobe Illustrator file AI, EPS, PDF file or Corel Draw file with all fonts outlined. We do accept other file formats such as JPG or Bitmaps but these must be provided in a high resolution.

STEP# 02
PRINTING
Vinyl Heat Transfer is process of Weeding and transfer onto fabrics and garments.
Your design is then manually weeded by our team and is prepped for pressing. “Weeding,” as explained before, describes the process of removing parts of the transfer that are unnecessary in order to remove the negative space from your design. This includes the inside of letters.
STEP# 03
HEAT PROCESS
Heat or UV curing process is used to dry and affix the printed ink to the Garment.
Once the individual screens are ready, they are locked in place onto the arms of the print carousel and aligned with each other to make sure that each color and each layer of color is printed in its correct position. The suitable color of ink is applied to the screens, and the colors are applied to the image one at a time to create your final print.

ADVANTAGE OF SILK VINYL CUT PRINTING
Digital Heat transfer method including Print & Cut , Cad Vinyl , Laser and D.T.G is very great for small and large logos with multi colored designs and logos. It is perfect for difficult to screen print items like bags and caps. Logos are printed and cut from a printable vinyl that is then heat pressed onto the garment. Smaller qty orders for stag and hen t-shirts or one off designs make printing affordable as their are no setup charges. Some see transfers as a poor quality way of printing but this is usually due to very poor 'iron on' transfers which have flooded the market and given transfer printing a bad name.
WHAT ARE THE POSSIBLE DRAWBACKS
-
Not good for bulk orders in terms of cost-effectiveness.
-
Available color choices are limited to the stock of vinyl that we have. Because of this, color matches are not always possible
-
Designs have to be supplied in vector format or converted to it before they can be cut
-
Available color artwork must be supplied in or converted to a vector format before cutting can take place.
